The Many Purposes of Auto Dumping Hoppers

With all the different industrial storage bins available, self dumping hoppers are the most versatile, flexible and easy to handle. Because they come in so many sizes and are made from materials because light as polyurethane so that as heavy as heavy gauge steel, there is literally a hopper for every industrial setting, from the small workshop to the largest warehouse or factory. In the loading docks at the back of a large retail appliance store, you will see several large waste bins. One will be for plastic, another for cardboard and still another with regard to general waste. Throughout the day, stockroom staff will be unpacking boxes of goods for display inside the shop.

When it is complete, the forklift operator can take it to the waste containers outside in a matter of minutes.

There is no easier way to clear the working area fast than with a hopper. If it also has casters attached, it may be rolled from area to area, making cleanup that much easier.
The meals service industry produces large volumes of organic waste materials. Lidded polyurethane self dumping hoppers are perfect for the actual storage of this waste. Smooth and watertight, there is no seapage and the lid eliminates unpleasant odors. After the hopper is emptied, it can easily be washed out having a hose.
These are just some of the utilizes hoppers are put to every day in a myriad of materials handling situations. Because they safely latch when in the upright position, but are therefore easily emptied when complete, there is no better container for waste. They are also ideal for those situations when large quantities of small parts or any other materials make transport along with lift truck forks impractical or impossible. Self dumping hoppers are not only economical and versatile, they are indispensable in any industrial setting.
